Why I want to become a Mentor?

I would like to become a mentor in the NAWA Mentorship Programme because Poland holds a special place in my personal and professional journey. It was the first European country where I lived and studied, at AGH University in Kraków, a beautiful and peaceful city where my international journey truly began. That experience played an important role in shaping my academic career and my ability to adapt to an international environment. After several years of experience in research, industrial R&D, project management, and international collaboration, I would be very happy to give something back by sharing my experience with younger researchers and students. I hope to support them not only in their academic and professional development, but also in navigating the challenges and opportunities of building an international career.

My professional experience

R&D professional and PhD researcher with the proven track record of over 7 years of experience in materials science, chemical and process engineering, and industrial innovation. My background combines scientific research with experience in business and industry such as: product development, market analysis, Project R&D management, leadership, and industrial collaboration. Having contributed to several innovation projects that ended up with factories and three filed European patents, I would be pleased to share my experience in bridging academic research and industry, managing R&D projects, developing innovative solutions, and supporting early-career researchers and engineers in their professional development.
The mentoring project is a part of Welcome to Poland run under Polish Agency for Academic Exchange with no. BPI/WTP/2025/1/00031 "AGH Global Alumni – A comprehensive model for cooperation and relationship-building between AGH and its international alumni".The Welcome to Poland Programme is financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 (FERS) within the project"Support for higher education and research institutions in servicing foreign nationals and Poles going abroad" (project no. FERS.01.05.IP.08-0003/24).
