Why I want to become a Mentor?
I want to become a mentor because I am passionate about helping new international students adapt smoothly to academic and cultural transitions. Having been an exchange student and researcher abroad, I deeply understand the initial challenges of navigating a new environment. I aim to leverage my experience in cross-cultural communication and logistics to support my peers in overcoming these barriers. At the same time, this role offers a valuable opportunity to build meaningful connections, foster lasting friendships, and expand my global network.
My professional experience
Assisted in welcoming and providing comprehensive logistical support for international professors and students. Actively participated in the reception process, orientation, and cultural integration support for international professors and students arriving for academic activities. Coordinated and managed core logistical operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, accommodation arrangements, transportation sourcing, and essential document preparation. Served as a proactive problem solver to address inquiries and unexpected issues, ensuring a seamless and comfortable living and working experience for international guests.
