My professional experience
I began my academic journey in Chemical Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), where I completed both my B.Eng. and M.Sc., including a research stay in Germany. From there, I pursued a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Joint Doctoral Programme, which ultimately led to two Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry and Engineering & Technology. Afterward, I moved to the UK as a Postdoc, continuing my work on plasma-assisted catalytic processes. My research has centered on CO2 conversion and utilization, N2 fixation, and C-C couplings, combining in situ/operando technique with the physicochemical characterization of catalytic materials. I also took the opportunity to participate in the Innovate UK ICURe Programme, where I served as CTO and Co-founder of PlasmaC2M, a spin-out venture commercializing plasma-catalytic research. I have also contributed to the scientific community as a reviewer for multiple journals and as an Affiliate Member of the RSC. I am now a Lecturer at the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences, HUST, continuing to bridge fundamental catalysis research with practical, scalable technologies.
